Walk back in time,
a castle brought to life
Mighty walls, enchanted corners, hidden recesses - medieval magic. Although Castle Rosenegg meets the modern requirements of a hotel for the comforts of its guests, it still retains its unique charm. Originally built in 1187 and redesigned by Baron Rosenberger in 1555 it has seen many personalities over centuries including Grand Duchess Margarethe Maultasch and Emperor Napoleon. In 1398 the manor was lovingly restored an became the Castle Hotel.

The Region

Salzburg

Salzburg

Salzburg's "Old Town" (Altstadt) with its world famous baroque architecture is one of the best-preserved city centres north of the Alps, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

Innsbruck

Innsbruck

Innsbruck is the capital city of the federal state of Tyrol in western Austria. It is located in the Inn Valley at the junction with the Wipptal (Sill River), which provides access to the Brenner Pass, some 30 kilometers (19 mi) south of Innsbruck.

Munich

Cosmopolitan and proud, Munich is a kaleidoscope of contrasts under a blue and white sky. Trendmerges with tradition, maypole meets multimedia.
The city’s architecture has a southern European flair. The streets and parks display exciting diversi- ty as the tantalizing aroma of pretzels and beer fills the air.
Munich glows.
